Your help is needed for the second annual Sole Hope Service Project! We are in need of denim (old clean jeans work great) and anyone willing to spend some time cutting out patterns. This year’s service project will be held on Monday, October 19, from 12:30-2:00. Then at 2:00, the students will be joining the community for Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at St. Joseph Church during the presentation of the International Pilgrim Virgin state of our Lady of Fatima. You are welcome to join us! Please bring your denim donations to the Granville center office. We will also be accepting donations of large safety pins, black Sharpie markers, fabric scissors, and thin plastic folders. The Sole Hope organization is also in need of Emla (or any other topical numbing cream), surgical gloves, cotton balls, medical tape, antibiotic cream, gauze, band aids, and stickers for the children. Any money donations will be used for postage and to pay the workers who make the shoes. The suggested donation is $10 per pair of shoes. Watch the school website (www.spaldingcatholic.org) and the local newspapers for more details!
